Freshman 65

"While in high school I was very self-conscious about my figure and I entered my freshman year at a respectable 135 pounds and a height of 5'4". Now that I no longer had my parents to watch over my food intake, I started eating foods more for their taste rather than their nutritional content. I found myself constantly getting full orders of tenders and fries. To make matters worse this group of guys on my floor who called themselves the meathead soldiers started making fun of me for being overweight. The need to eat combined with my depression over the ridicule turned into a vicious cycle and I ultimately gained 65 pounds during my freshman year and have been too embarassed to even see my friends from high school. I hope next year brings better things for me."
